Following on from the compound being set up around Wilstockhub land yesterday, today the Trustees officially broke ground for the start of the construction project for the new £1.86 million community hub. The community hub will feature a large hall which can be partitioned, 2 meeting rooms, community café, childcare centre as well as a community garden and off street parking.

The groundworks which are being carried out by Suttles, represent the first phase of the Wilstockhub construction and will take approximately 8 weeks to complete. The works will consist of: groundworks & foundations, and External Drainage.

The hub is a much needed community resource and has taken many years of planning, design & fundraising to get to this stage. We are delighted to be working with Suttles and Haldons to bring our dreams to reality.
